The Time Is Nigh At Hand

For thus saith the Lord—I, the Lord, am ^amerciful and gracious unto those who ^bfear me, and delight to honor those who ^cserve me in righteousness and in truth unto the end. (Doctrine and Covenants 76:5)

It's been awful to know how tempest destroyed the place I live. Many sufferings arise due to lost of love ones, belongings and up to now there still missing. Two consecutive disasters came particularly in the Visayan Region.

Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake strike in Bohol where most of their historical structures collapsed. Tourism were affected. Almost thousands aftershocks were recorded. Many would say it's a punishment. Come to think it's a warning for all of us. As quoted in the scriptures pestilences, turmoils and tragedies will come.

Leader always remind us to be prepared at all times. Be vigilant enough against temptations. 

It's not yet over when Haiyan or Yolanda came that almost swept the whole area in Tacloban, Leyte. Innocents cried for help and didn't know what to do. Countries around the globe do support in many ways. Just to support victims. Despite of many murmured. Unequally serve of needs. 

As a concern citizen been hurt. But I knew it's part of our life to ;earn to remember that He is existing. "For the time is nigh at hand." 

Mom’s Undying Love

We should know that all things are created equal in the sight of God. Have given responsibilities to take care of. Before I hate animals especially when their fur touched my skin. Giggling and trembling feelings. Until one time all things changed.

It was one of my greatest fear before to see cats. Every time I chased them out. For me, they are dirty. Just last year a mother cat came in. Rugged looked and have a tingling eyes. She’s pregnant  asking food for nourishment. We’re not supposed but our heart was touched upon knowing the condition. She’s a tame one.

As to humans it takes nine months but to animals just months prior to delivery of their siblings.  A cry disturbed our attention. We searched it until we saw she gave birth to three cute kittens. It was the genes counts which we can inherit our physical aura. She’s not beautiful but the siblings turned out creatively made. With different colors of furs they owned. Amazingly to see how wondrous our creator did for us.

She did her best to hunt foods so she could gave proper nutrition through breastfeeding. Kept them safe from any perpetrators. Just one time when our elder dog accidentally released. We all scared thinking of the little ones. She’s great even an animal have the knowledge how to save her young. The kittens just learning to walked managed themselves for protection. During rainy night striving to find a shelter. One time she’s not around.  Of course a young ones once in trouble will tremble and cry. They’re almost wet. My mom find a used cartoons to make them as temporary shelter. Giggly to carry but she did to protect the kittens. Beside knowing an animals felt jealous ones you see or even touch their young.

Until another episode came got pregnant again. Notwithstanding, even at her condition still she never failed to do her tasks as a mother. Undying love she shared to them. But I noticed animals too have mode swing when in this condition. Despite of at least she is always there for them.

If only have sufficient budget it’s nice to see them all big. Unfortunately not, so my mom told her if possible she must transfer  to another place that is safe. Hoping she find another one who have humble heart. Before the departure she see to it the total safety. Even advice them to be together as one.

Now, every time we see them playing we can imagine how great our creator is. They’re comparable to humans. But as for me indeed they are far better than humans. Extraordinary one, knows how to calm in times of trouble. They have a humble existence.

Humans Vs. Animals

Everyone are doing what they want. Not withstanding disobeying the Laws of God. Blinded by the craftiness of men. Ever since the world began we all knew wickedness already existed. It was already foretold we can experienced either negative or positive. Testing how firm we are on our creator.

As I could recall what I’ve learned in the scripture. It was stated, before we came here on earth there was a great council in heaven.  Heavenly Father wanted us to be perfect like Him. We are here on earth to gain flesh and bones.  Mortal existence is comparative as a school wherein we need to study hard to gain success.

We are love given the freedom to act on our own. In the same way to teach us lessons. If we choose right then forever happiness but if not opposite outcome. Men are created by His Own Likeness but what happened? Animals are created too but with lower level. Compared to them we have higher wisdom.

Wickedness is every where. Many would say as long we are alive we must enjoy. Life is too short. For Him it’s only a twinkling of an eye. I am not perfect for no one is perfect. He is the only perfect. We are obligated to obey His commandments. Somewhat difficult and strict. But as we ponder these are pathways towards perfection. 

Immorality is the number one reason. Many broken families and many children gone astray. Every where we can view anything that is immoral in the sight of the young. Fashion are in and being patronize. Being sexy can convey or attract anyone.  Feeling being love but in fact just lust.

Are we human or animal? Why many do act like an animals? Humans have the privilege to act on our own in the right way while animals need guidance. It seems something wrong with. Parents have the big role in molding their children. But as always did. As for me whatever happened we are responsible on our own actions. Even nobody is there for us as long we seek the truth we can be guided.

Many would adore popular people. What they did, wore and everything mostly being followed. Are they gods that we need to worship? No...They are just humans. Now is the time for us to prepare to meet God. If we can surpass trials eternal  blessings is our gift.

Priceless Jewel

A home is not complete without a child. Every couple will not feel complete. Loneliness will abound.

Every child is special especially in the sight of God. Their innocence reminds to be noble. They helped us strengthened our faith.

I could recall a story of a mother. Once she attended a party most of her friends wore expensive jewels. Then she was asked, “ Oh you’re so simple and don’t have anything? Don’t have jewels likes us? Are you poor?” She smiled and replied, I am rich and have precious jewels. Here’s they are my children. They lightened my life. Through them I am complete.

Each of them have special way of expressing love. Even a simple smile they comfort our anguish.

Pronouncing Our Deepest Sympathy

Seeing someone homeless and hungry especially old age is painful. To ask where are their families? Supposed they have been cared of at their stage. Every time my mom can saw such situation she would say I must find a good partner and get married. She would not permit it might happen to me.

It was a night of sorrow. We're approaching to a nearby pharmacy to buy medicines for my mom. Upon receiving the purchase our eyes has been captured by an old man walking sluggishly. Wearing rugged suit. He was bringing a bottle of mineral water and a slice of small bread. He then sat down in a bench taking all he have. We felt it's not enough. A dept of sorrow came in and wondering his situation. I almost cry and said if only those people who are blessed with much can have the eagerness to save.

We decided to go to the nearest bakeshop to buy breads and water. My mom said if only she have enough she can help those in need. Rushing in and hoping we could catch up the old man. Luckily there he was in the same place. Noticing him he have an eye defect he couldn't see clearly. The only way he can comfort his loneliness and coldness is through smoking.

I don't know where he was now. We are hoping our government have some plans for this. Like in the US they have some institution who handled aged for them be comforted. At their late stage they can still feel the warm acceptance.

Talents Rise A Success

Each individual are born with talents. A free gift from on high. We are oblige to use it or else be taken away. Some would say we are nothing don't have a space to live on. Thinking they don't acquire it. We are peculiar being with different characteristics. Some is being develop and some is innate. All to do is explore and develop.

It's been awhile reality shows are rampant. Most of us especially young ones indulged to be popular and earn money. There is no limit as long you have guts opportunities are there. We may say we don't have it just because we fail to explore or we felt shy. It's normal but if we want achievements then move on.

Just recently a certain young man with kidney problem won. Despite of his disabilities he never quit. Many would say it's a bias just because he's an American compared to his contender a Filipina. Certainly the reason why many of us achieved because of strong determination plus the faith in Almighty. It drives us to be positive to pursue our dreams. It doesn't mean if we failed we don't have chances but it's just a beginning.

There is no limit, no sexual preferences and no racial discrimination all are equal. Many famous painters, composers, and musicians were born with disability but they bloom with  much respect and honor. They uphold  us to develop everything we have to commit success.

Talking back to reality shows there indeed we can pattern some aspects from the participants. How they survived despite of many hardships prior to the contest? How they managed to withstand amidst criticisms and even their family were being mocked? How they withhold their dignity? Such questions can view ourselves that we much exert our wisdom to explore the gift we had.

"Great wisdom comes greater opportunities." Before people were living simply. Didn't have gadgets that could loosen their burdens. Took several months when they could received mails from someone. It's glad to know we were blessed with so much talents. It helps us improve and avail opportunities. Make things easier and possible. Thanks to the technologies we have now.


As to the knowledge humans keeps creating to maximize everything in just one click.

One thing is the rising of networking sites. As to young people it's a great idea to meet new friends, searching partners, lending a job or seeking lots of opportunities that helps improve the living. But to some a warming feelings that they could embrace ties to long lost family, relatives and friends.


There are many but the most popular is Facebook. In fact as to the survey most of us Filipinos are in. It is one way we can share our feelings and experiences. Locate and uphold new talents that could invigorate our brain. As an overview some made it as their journal. Showing personal events with pictures that convey others to see and enjoy.


Some would says they met their life partner through it. But as for me I've learn the lineage of my father by engaging networking sites. All we knew we only belong here. It's fun we can explore amazing and interesting topics that could lengthen our capacity as a true individual.
